Recording session with Symphony Orchestra
What it feels like the first time one listens to his music played by a symphony orchestra is something incredible and one that is never forgotten in life. But getting to that point is a complicated and intimidating process, in which for everything to go well, several highly qualified professionals have to work together.
A recording session with a symphony orchestra or symphonic choir is by far the most complicated to carry out, and not only at a technical and personal level, but also at an organizational level, pre-production, post-production, mixing, etc… In addition, the lack experience and the resulting problems, can increase the final cost of the recording.
Fortunately, Koala Studios has an experience of more than 15 years recording albums and various audiovisual projects with symphony orchestra, and we can advise and accompany you in all the necessary steps to reach a successful recording, and make your music heard as you imagine it in your head.

How much does it cost to record with a symphony orchestra?
Recording with a symphony orchestra does not cost as much as you think. However, there are some points that will determine the final cost, among them: the number of musicians required, the formation of the different sections, the duration and complexity of the music to be recorded, and the speed with which you need to record.
Logically, it is not the same to record 42 string musicians as it does to record with a section of 21 musicians. But depending on the type of project and musical style, sometimes a small section works better than a large one, plus it is cheaper.
In addition, today it is possible to record remotely, reducing the cost of travel and hotel, and there is the possibility of recording only 1-2 hours in shared sessions, which greatly reduces the final budget.
We have been working with the Bratislava Symphony Orchestra, a renowned symphony orchestra with more than 900 projects carried out for the whole world in different musical styles, and whose director is David Hernando, a renowned Spanish conductor and founder of this orchestra that has the best musicians in the country.
